A completely new library

The library is the page you actually live in, and for a long time it was the page that had changed the least. On June 16th it was replaced entirely.

Rebuilt from the ground up

The rework touched everything: how cards are laid out and rendered, how images are loaded and cached, how the page behaves while you scroll, and how quickly it becomes usable after launch. Game cards got subtle motion, and image race conditions that caused covers to flicker after a refresh were fixed along the way.

Make it yours

Favourites and personal ratings arrived with the new library, so your own opinion of a game is stored next to it rather than somewhere else. Discord rich presence also learned to report an idle status after two minutes, instead of claiming you are still deep in a game you walked away from.

Better on Linux

The same release made Proton-CachyOS the default runner with Proton-GE as an alternative, and fixed runner detection and deduplication. Combined with the new library, it was the point where the Linux build stopped feeling like a port.
