Wave 14: Quantum

Quantum rebuilt the library page, added favourites and personal ratings, opened the door to external game sources, and pushed Linux forward with Proton-CachyOS, Ludusavi and umu.

Wave 14 finished on June 16th with 102 changes. It was the wave that rebuilt the page you actually live in.

A library worth living in

The library page was reworked completely, with game favouriting, personal ratings and extra game editing options in preferences, including Steam info and asset editing.

Linux grows up

Proton-CachyOS became the default runner with Proton-GE as an alternative, vcredist x86 and x64 install automatically on first launch, and Ludusavi support arrived with custom backup paths. umu launcher support, its own updater and a gamepad-navigable file browser rounded it out.

Everything around it

Profile data went cloud-first, external game sources gained automatic image and asset fetching, and torrent settings became configurable. Downloads got hero images and Cloudflare checks on every endpoint, Buzzheavier became the default provider, and FileDitch handles SteamRIP link extraction and manual downloads.
