External game sources
10.4.3 opened Ascendara up to external game sources, with automatic image and asset fetching, configurable torrent settings and a much better first time setup.
Ascendara shipped with a fixed set of providers for a long time. 10.4.3 replaced that with generic source handling, so external game sources can be added and treated the same as the official ones.
Assets handled for you
Games added from an external source still get images and assets fetched automatically, including SteamGridDB covers, so your library stays visually consistent no matter where a game came from.
A better first run
First time setup was reworked in the same release, with clearer wording about Ascendara being free to use, configurable torrent settings, and a fix for getting the correct version depending on the branch you are running.
- Support for external game sources
- Automatic image and asset fetching for those sources
- Configurable torrent settings
- Improved first time setup and onboarding
- Custom Ludusavi backup paths
