Wave 13: Parallax

Parallax was a performance and expansion wave: automatic index refreshing, dynamic Proton prefixes, Firebase calls cut by 80%, and Big Picture mode kept growing.

Wave 13 wrapped on April 10th. At 130 changes it was the largest wave so far, split between making the app faster and stretching it into new places.

Faster under the hood

Indexes now refresh automatically with fallback methods for Ascend features, achievement tracking moved to dynamic Proton prefixes, and a Firebase optimisation pass cut calls by around 80%.

Quality of life

Quick launch was fixed, first-time users got continue setup options, and game management gained context menus and backup directories. A new app statistics view and partner account integration with a graphics display system landed too.

Big Picture keeps growing

Big Picture mode gained achievement screens, better search results and smoother transitions, while debrid services got session control and archive handling moved to jszip.
