Seamless Buzzheavier downloads, and review cards that look like you

Version 11.7.0 downloads from Buzzheavier without a browser window in the way: Ascendara handles the page in the background and only shows it when it needs you. Ascend members can also give their game reviews a custom background image or GIF, with their own colors and image opacity.

Version 11.7.0 takes the busywork out of Buzzheavier downloads and lets Ascend members make their game reviews their own. It also warns you when a download stops making progress, fixes Pixeldrain share links, and makes updates smaller on Windows and more reliable on macOS.

Buzzheavier downloads, without the window

Until now, choosing Buzzheavier opened its download page in a popup window, and you had to find the download button and double-click it before anything happened. Now Ascendara opens the page in a hidden window and starts the download for you. You'll see "Opening download page..." and then "Getting download link..." on the download page, and the download shows up in your queue like any other.

Sometimes the page needs a person, for example when it shows a captcha. When that happens, Ascendara shows you the window so you can click through it, and takes the download over again from there. New users also skip the browser download guide for Buzzheavier, since there's nothing to walk through anymore.

  • Buzzheavier downloads start on their own from a hidden window
  • The window only appears when the page needs your input, like a captcha
  • Progress on the download page while the link is being fetched
  • No browser download guide needed for Buzzheavier

Custom review cards for Ascend members

Ascend members can now upload a background image for their review cards. PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP all work, and GIFs stay animated. After you pick a file, you can drag and zoom to crop it to the card, and a preview shows how your reviews will look to other players. You'll find it under Review Card in Ascend's settings.

You can also pick your card's glow and text colors and how strongly the background image shows through. Style changes appear for everyone right away, and we made sure your text and badges stay readable over any image.

Every image is reviewed before it goes live, so you'll see it marked as awaiting approval at first. If you replace an image you already have, your current background stays up until the new one is approved, so your card is never left blank. You can cancel a pending image at any time. Custom backgrounds stop showing if your Ascend subscription ends.

  • Upload an image or animated GIF as your review card background
  • Crop and zoom it to fit, with a live preview
  • Choose your card's glow color, text color and image opacity
  • Your current background stays up while a new one awaits approval
  • Reviews from Ascend members are highlighted and show their badges
