Send any browser download to Ascendara
Download Handler 5.0 can send any download to Ascendara, even games outside your index. Add the missing game details in the app, then manage the download in your library. The game download and downloads pages have been rebuilt too.
Finding a game on the web no longer means leaving Ascendara behind when you start the download. With Download Handler 5.0, the browser extension can send any download it catches to Ascendara, including games that are not in your index. Ascendara takes over the download and helps you set it up for your library.
From browser to library
When a download arrives, Ascendara asks for the details it needs instead of assuming the game is already in your index. You can confirm its name, add a version, choose artwork and other game details, and select where to save it before starting or queuing the download. If you are already viewing that game in Ascendara, the app can use its existing information.
That opens the door to downloading from sites such as Astral Games and Anker without a separate manual handoff. Follow the site's normal steps until the real download begins; the extension sends it to Ascendara, where you can finish setting it up and keep it with the rest of your library.
Two download pages rebuilt
There was too much to fit into the old layouts, so the game download page and the downloads page have been reconstructed. The new pages give game details, download controls and progress room to breathe, making it easier to move from choosing a download to managing it.
